Financial Assistant  

 

Responsibilities: 

The Financial Assistant will work directly on our internal finance and accounting team and report to the Director of Finance.  Daily responsibilities include:   

  • Assist in daily recording, tracking and payment of invoices 
  • Assist in maintaining accurate financial reports, records and general ledgers 
  • Prepare and analyze budgets 
  • Complete bank reconciliations in accounting system  
  • Assist with gathering information on newly acquired properties 

Qualifications:  

  • Exceptional organizational skills  
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral  
  • Ability to think strategically and prioritize competing projects  
  • Proficiency in office suite products  

Preferred: 

  • Knowledge of Quickbooks

Property Manager 

Responsibilities: 

The Property Manager will be responsible for the daily operation of assigned properties which will include the following tasks: 

  • Communicate with current residents on questions regarding rent, utilities, and other general inquiries
  • Collect and process rent and utility payments 
  • Work with our leasing team to onboard new residents
  • Manage the resident move out process 
  • Communicate with our maintenance team on work order updates
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications: 

  • Exceptional organizational skills 
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced and team environment 
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal 
  • Excellent people skills 
  • Ability to think strategically and prioritize competing tasks
  • Proficiency in Office suite products

Preferred: 

  • Property management experience 
  • Customer service experience

Property Maintenance Technician   

Responsibilities:  

The Property Maintenance Technician will work directly with our internal maintenance team and be responsible for the completion of assigned resident work orders.  Daily responsibilities include:

  • Communicate with maintenance supervisor to prioritize work orders and determine schedule
  • Assist and provide guidance to maintenance technicians
  • Communicate with residents about work being completed
  • Provide status updates on work orders and schedule follow up appointments as necessary
  • Provide assistance to sub-contractors who are assigned specialty work orders
  • Assist maintenance supervisor with after-hours scheduling

Qualifications:  

  • Knowledge of residential property maintenance and renovations
  • Experience in carpentry and finish work  
  • Ability to efficiently and effectively problem solve
  • Ability to manage timelines and meet deadlines
  • Attention to details
  • Strong communication skills

Preferred:  

  • Knowledge of mechanicals including HVAC, electrical and plumbing

Real Estate Sales Assistant (Entry Level) 

Responsibilities: 

The Real Estate Sales Assistant will be responsible for overseeing the sales process of properties within the company’s real estate portfolio.  Daily responsibilities include:  

  • Responsible for underwriting and identifying properties to sell within company’s portfolio 
  • Acquire understanding of market conditions through research and utilization of internal company systems 
  • Determine listing prices and manage pricing strategies for each property  
  • Gather all necessary info to effectively market for sale properties  
  • Work directly with local real estate agents to list properties for sale  
  • Negotiate offers with potential buyers  
  • Compile all necessary info and communicate with settlement company for property closings   

Qualifications: 

  • Relators license is not required  
  • Excellent organization and time management skills  
  • Attention to details  
  • Ability to think strategically and prioritize competing projects   
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal   
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced and team environment
